Translating the inspiration and capturing the story of appreciation begins with the soft floral of Mimosa and the warm sweetness of orange – both celebrating our abundant earth. The middle builds in intensity, with pure exotic jasmine and a citrus rosemary representing mindfulness, academic discovery and the beauty found in art. The ending grounds us in a sweet, earthy, amber caramel. Overall, the fragrance references the lushness of spring, connection to our human form and hope peppered with fantasy.

BEHIND THE SCENES
To work with the Auckland Art Gallery from brief, to scent design & packaging.
To work with Mary Kisler, Senior Curator at Auckland Art Gallery, who travelled to Florence as part of her work on The Corsini Collection, and over twenty other Gallery staff.
To learn about the masters who lived, created and loved during the renaissance.
To create a lush springtime fragrance for every goddess you know.
Perfume Playground collaborated with Auckland Art Gallery in April to offer three-hour scent sessions exploring colour and scent as part of their Member programme. The design-led scent sessions are incredibly fun and imaginative. Following this, Krissy Perrett, Retail Operations Manager at Auckland Art Gallery, approached me to create a unique fragrance to sell exclusively in the Gallery
and inspired by the major new exhibition, The Corsini Collection: A Window on Renaissance Florence, opening on Saturday 2 September. Presenting artwork from the private collection of the dynastic Corsini family, the exhibition is travelling from Italy for the very first time, so we wanted to celebrate Florentine art and lives.
