Meet Your Host

Astrid Crosland’s lifelong fascination with the natural world, nurtured by inspiring women during her upbringing in Aotearoa and the Shetland Isles, has led her to pursue a PhD at Auckland University of Technology. Her research delves into the intersection of popular culture and modern practices of Magic. Scent plays a crucial role in her personal rituals, and she is passionate about empowering others to create personalized perfumes. Astrid’s favorite aspect of scent design is witnessing how individual biochemistry transforms ingredients into unique fragrances.
